Major works continue at the Willow Court site and the landscaping is starting to frame the historic buildings while structural work continues with some minor challenges in Bronte bringing works to a stop for a short time. An opening date still hasn’t been announced as yet from the Derwent Valley Council, nor have they shared any thoughts on any opening celebrations that they have arranged.

Bit of a shame it didn’t make the autumn festival opening but so very excited to see it moving along. It looks great!
It is looking good and we are excited to. It would be even more exciting to know that the museum had an opening date and something to see when it happens, also it would be nice to know if anyone has been employed to do tours, I haven’t see any tenders. Who is going to run the education centre and who is going to host the visitors? Council own this and need to take their job seriously other wise there wont be any extra money available to continue the restoration process. It is showing that they are not capable of running a major tourist attraction or they just don’t communicate with the public well??
